Current availability

The operator-configured development pilot is not a portable download. It depends on its development environment and is not the public Mac package.

Intel installation has been exercised only on the development Mac. Apple Silicon and broader macOS compatibility are pending verification. The macOS 14+ source target should not be read as a tested system requirement.

What the first launch will explain

Before analysis, Recon needs to show how processing access is configured, where data is sent, the applicable retention policy and the source review controls. Public setup details are being finalized.

Using the current investigation workflow

   Describe the issue.

   Tell Recon what happened, what you were trying to do, and approximately when.

2. 02

   Review the evidence.

   Scan the Mac. Preview the collected sources and exclude information before continuing.

3. 03

   Choose to analyze.

   Review the processing policy and give consent before selected evidence is sent to OpenAI.

4. 04

   Explore the findings.

   Read observations, possible causes and practical next steps. Follow citations or ask a focused question.

Understand the limits

Recon suggests manual checks. It does not repair the Mac or provide remote control. Source availability varies with macOS, application version and ordinary account access.

Review logs for confidential information before authorizing analysis. An incomplete scan, unknown timestamp or missing log is a coverage limit, not proof that no problem occurred.
